Contratransferência: origem, evolução histórica do conceito e aplicabilidade clínica

Resumo


O conceito da contratransferência (CT) talvez seja um dos mais controversos da técnica psicanalítica. De obstáculo ao tratamento à ferramenta importante para a compreensão dos pacientes, a CT é atualmente considerada por muitos autores imprescindível à técnica psicanalítica. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo revisar a origem, evolução conceitual, manejo e aplicabilidade clínica da CT na psicoterapia psicanalítica de adulto. Para isso, autores que ajudaram a definir e aprimorar este construto serão revisitados, assim como serão revisadosestudos empíricos atuais sobre esta temática. Conclui-se que, apesar da evidente evolução e metamorfose da CT, ainda há questões abertas e divergências, entre os teóricos, em relação ao seu manejo e sua aplicabilidade clínica, o que reforça a necessidade de mais estudo sobre o tema a fim de preencher tais lacunas.
