Stomatos is a regular biannual publication that has been edited without interruption since 1995 by the Faculty of Dentistry of Universidade Luterana do Brasil (ULBRA), Canoas/RS, southern Brazil.
The aim of the journal is to promote the exchange of information among the several areas of dentistry. It primarily publishes original articles reporting results of clinical and laboratory research, and thus it represents an important means of communication and source of knowledge to the dental community.
The abbreviated title of the journal is the same as its full title: Stomatos. This title should be used in citations, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.
