Identificação de concepções de alunos de ensino médio sobre calor e temperatura / Identification of conceptions of high school students about heat and temperature

Resumo

Neste texto é relatada uma pesquisa realizada com alunos de Física do ensino médio, com oobjetivo de identificar suas concepções sobre calor e temperatura. A idéia que originou o trabalhoproveio das dificuldades de alunos de Engenharia Química, ao utilizar tais conceitos no estudo deCálculo Diferencial e Integral. Considera-se que é necessário investigar as concepções dos alunospara poder construir estratégias de ação em sala de aula que os auxiliem a superar dificuldades deentendimento. A análise de conteúdo das respostas dos 167 participantes aos questionamentosfeitos pelas pesquisadoras permitiu a emergência de categorias, apresentadas juntamente com suainterpretação e o diálogo com os teóricos que embasaram a investigação.

This research was carried out with the purpose of identifying conceptions of high school physicsstudents about heat and temperature. The idea to develop the work was originated by the difficultiesof chemistry engineering students, when studying Integral and Differential Calculus. We consider thatit is necessary to investigate students conceptions in order to build classroom teaching activities thatcan help them to overcome learning difficulties. Content analysis of the answers of the 167 studentsresults in the distinctions of categories. We present them together with the foundations and theinterpretation of this research.
