Acerca dos discursos pedagógicos sobre ensinar e aprender Ciências Exatas na Escola Básica / About Pedagogical Discourses on Teaching and Learning Exact Sciences in Elementary and Secondary Education

Resumo

Este ensaio tem por objetivo problematizar enunciações que instituem verdades sobre ensinare aprender no campo das Ciências Exatas, em especial, na disciplina Matemática. Os aportes teóricosque sustentam a investigação são relativos às teorizações de Michel Foucault, com destaque àssuas noções de formações discursivas e regimes de verdade. O material de pesquisa está compostopor excertos de duas sessões de entrevistas efetivadas no segundo semestre de 2010, por meio datécnica de grupo focal com licenciandas e professoras oriundas de um curso de Ciências Exatas,habilitação integrada em Matemática, Química e Física, Licenciatura, de uma Instituição de EnsinoSuperior do Rio Grande do Sul. A análise do material de pesquisa permite inferir que, para osentrevistados, a aprendizagem dos conteúdos relacionados às Ciências Exatas está diretamentevinculada à maturidade do aluno e à linearidade dos conteúdos.

This essay aims at problematizing enunciations that institutionalize truths about learning andteaching in the field of Exact Sciences, in special, in the subject of Mathematics. The theoreticalcontributions that support the investigation are related to Michel Foucault’s theorizations,focusing on his conceptions of discursive formations and regimes of truth. The research materialis composed by excerpts of two interview sessions, through the focal group technique, carried outin the 2nd semester 2010 with a group of undergraduates and teachers graduated from a course ofExact Sciences, integrated major in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, of a Higher EducationInstitution from Rio Grande do Sul. The analysis of the research material allows to infer that, forthe interviewees, learning the contents linked to Exact Sciences is directly linked to student’smaturity and linearity of the contents.
